Sunward, as the first enterprise to export and ship used construction machinery after the China (Hunan) Free Trade Zone rolled out new policies on export of used construction machinery, has received widespread media coverage.
At present, China manufactures, sells and owns the most construction machinery in the world, but only a small portion of them are exported due to the asymmetry of transaction information between the buyers and the sellers and the lack of supporting services and channels.
To this end, the free trade zone has introduced a series of innovative measures to promote the export of used construction machinery. Yesterday, the first batch of used machinery after the introduction of such measures was officially declared at the customs and is expected to leave Hong Kong for Uganda in early November.
